If you are visiting shouldi for the first time, you will see a join shouldi invitation and a sign-up now button on the right sidebar of the shouldi home page.

Just click the sign-up now button, enter your name, birthday, and e-mail address and select a password. We'll send you a confirming e-mail message. Once confirmed, you are set to start giving and getting advice with your friends or the whole shouldi world.

If you forget your username, just click on the i forgot username link on the shouldi home page. We'll ask for your email address that you used to set up the account and send an e-mail to with your shouldi username.

If you forget your password, just click on the i forgot password link on the shouldi home page. We'll ask you for an answer to your secret question. When you answer this question correctly, we will send an e-mail to your registered e-mail address with your new password.

When you are logged into shouldi, you will see my profile button on the right sidebar. Click this button and click the change password link on the About Me tab of your profile.

There are two ways you can set your shouldis to private or public. You can set the default under the Communications tab of your user profile by choosing whether your shouldis are visible to the world (public) or just to your friends(private).

You can choose to make a specific shouldi private or public by clicking on the show options link as you are creating the shouldi and selecting ask the world if you want the shouldi to be public or ask my friends if you want the shouldi to be private.

When you are logged into shouldi, you will see a my profile button on the right sidebar of the shouldi home page or your my shouldi page. Click on this button to take you to your profile page. From here, you can edit information about you, your communications settings, and your relationships with friends and watchees.

Interests are the topics that you are most passionate about. Interests can be music, art, science, products, cars, food, towns, restaurants, clubs, classes, activities, sports, or anything else. Ideally, interests are also the topics or areas where you're willing to offer advice to other shouldi users. You should be specific in describing your interests. Instead of just saying music, describe your interest as jazz music, rap music, or hip-hop music.

When you are logged in and click on the heart button on the main shouldi page or your my shouldi page, we'll search for shouldis, answers and other users that match your interests.

Interests are also used by shouldi to connect you with other shouldi users that share your same interests. When you login to shouldi, you will see an "alike, near, new" section at the bottom of the right sidebar. This section shows other shouldi users, who share your interests or live in your area. These are people who aren't already your friends on shouldi. If you don't enter your interests, you're missing out on a chance to find other shouldi users who share your passions.

Finally, listing your interests allows other shouldi users to find you and get specific advice from you. If you check the "Allow private advice requests" under the communications settings of your profile, other users will be able to ask you for advice in your areas of interest.

Histories allow you to outline the schools that you are or have attended as well as the places you are or have worked.

You can search on school or company names to find your friends who are also shouldi users.

First of all, we can't imagine why you would want to delete your shouldi account. Before cancelling your account, please take the time to contact us and let us know why you wish to cancel.

Log into your shouldi account and choose My Profile from the main shouldi page. At the bottom of the About Me tab of profile is link to cancel my membership. Click on this link to delete your shouldi account.
